Takes One to Know One
There is a woman at work who is pretty into homeopathic stuff. She's always coming up with stuff like: "chewing gum tricks your body into thinking you're eating and then your stomach produces too many digestive juices", "my hand hurt so I rubbed some peppermint oil on it and it feels much better", "that person sounds like they must be a Scorpio". I'm kind of skeptical about all that horoscope-nature's goodness-mumbo jumbo. I guess that's because I'm a Capricorn...

Indian Summer
Check out my friend Jeremy's blog. He's traveling with Hot Rock through the "Arc of Asia" for about another 8 months or so, living like a dirtbag.

Odours.
You know what my favorite thing about life is? Scents. I like how the smells of some things can make you remember the way you were feeling at a certain time. I change my scent frequently so it's easy for me to match up the way I smelled (i.e. the lotion I was using) to different times in my life. I have this peony lotion I used when I was living in NYC working at the UN and everytime I smell it, it brings me back to my office and roaming the halls of the UN.
Paris smells like Givenchy.
Estonia smells like Olay Quench (for very dry skin).
J. Lo Glow smells like the old Wal-Mart in Brookings.
There was a huge sale at Bath and Body Works.
Today smells like grapefruit and sweet fennel.
